Crestline is seeking a Production Technician to join the team in the area of Service/Bus/Remount.

Responsibilities:

Remount Mechanical and Electrical Assembly

• Use build documents to remount customer used ambulance boxes from old chassis onto new chassis
• Use build documents to upgrade electrical and mechanical systems
• Provide function testing on all added components

Bus Mechanical and Electrical Assembly

• Use build documents to install all mechanical and electrical components requested
• Provide function testing on all added components

Service

• Repair vehicles as per Service work order - ie. ambulances, buses, wheelchair lifts, etc.

Assemble Custom Vehicles

• Perform the necessary tasks to meet the specifications for custom built vehicles

Quality

• Perform a general quality control check to ensure that all specifications and quality standards are met

Experience & Competencies

• Knowledge of 12 volt and 120 volt electrical systems and test equipment
• Automotive mechanical experience an asset
• Hydraulic system experience an asset
• Experience and ability using hand and power tools
• Able to read and understand a tape measure to 1/32” tolerance
• Able to read drawings
• Understand the production process in terms of quality and quantity
• Understand quality measurements to adhere to ISO requirements
• Conscious of and adhere to safe work practices
