Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a BI (Qlik) Developer/Administratorfor one of our clients in the National Capital Region.

The following responsibilities are associated with the “Statement Of Work” but are not limited to:

The Consultant will be responsible for providing the following Services to the Bank:
Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Business Solutions and Architecture:

• Meet with business representatives/Analysts to understand business requirements for Qlik
• Analyze all gathered requirements and implement new Qlik Sense apps/worksheets for the business
• Propose changes/updates to the data model that would better support business needs
• Create design documents and a developer handbook for Qlik Sense applications
• Execute unit testing and support quality assurance/user acceptance testing
• Maintain ongoing support of the Qlik Sense server platform (multiple node deployment)
• Monitor of Qlik Sense server platform for performance and availability
• Support Qlik Sense server configurations, access credentials, and data connections with source systems
• Monitor Qlik Sense app reloads and reload schedule and resolve issues with support teams
• Support user access maintenance including user accounts and security rules management

Required Qualifications & Skills
The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:

• A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated hand-on experience in building BI solutions
• A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated hands-on experience in building Qlik Sense applications,

for Qlik 2020 or higher;

• A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in working in an Agile Scrum environment
• A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience in NPrinting, QVD, and QVS
• A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience in administration of Qlik Sense and NPrinting

environments

• Demonstrated experience in working with business directly to enhance/define BI worksheet solutions
• Demonstrated experience in visualizing data into meaningful dashboards

Additional Qualifications
The following will also be considered:

• Demonstrated experience with SVN/version control and PostgreSQL administration
• Demonstrated knowledge with Windows System Administration
• Demonstrated ability to analyze, assess and problem-solve, making sound decisions/recommendations
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently while meeting completion dates
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbal and written
• Demonstrated understanding of Resiliency requirements, such as Clustering, Failover and Disaster
