At Industrial Drive Service Inc. we design and build automation solutions for industrial machinery used across many applications in Canada and throughout the world. We also make small batch wire harnesses. Currently, we are seeking an energetic go-getter for the newly created positions of Agricultural Business Developer or Mining Business Developer. This person will be tasked with finding and creating new business relationships within the agriculture community. This is a new position and a new focus within our organization. The Business Developers will be responsible for promoting and growing all IDS products and services in the agriculture or mining sectors. The primary focus of the position will be on Canadian based agriculture or mining related OEM's and agriculture or mining related engineering firms. The Business Developer must be knowledgeable about the requirements of the agriculture industry as well as have a basic understanding of the limitations and costs of implementing automation equipment. The candidate must possess basic Electro-Mechanical knowledge and be familiar with Microsoft Office 365. Our ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and have great customer service experience as well as impeccable time management skills.

Education:

Minimum OSSD or equivalent. Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business or Marketing would be an asset. An Electrician's License would also be an asset.

Experience:

For Agriculture:
-Agricultural Equipment Design.
-Agricultural Sales

-5 years working experience in agriculture including but not limited to:
-Electrical experience working on agricultural installs; specifically handling systems and pumps.
-OEM Equipment Sales.

For Mining:

- Mining equipment design

-Mining equipment sales

-5 years working experience in mining

Certifications:

-Valid Ontario Driver's License (G) or equivalent.
-Valid passport and the ability to travel between Canada and the U.S.A.
