We are looking to add a Business Development Manager to help obtain attractive construction & business opportunities that fit the Emil Anderson Group operations, resources, and financial objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Uphold an unwavering commitment to developing a zero-injury culture.
- Operate in accordance to and uphold Emil Anderson Group (EAG) Core Values in all aspects of your work.
- Developing and winning construction, and business, opportunities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation and qualification.
- Maintain relationships with current clients
- Initiate, develop, and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with indigenous communities, seeking to understand their community needs and capabilities.
- Promote collaborative partnerships.
- Understand the needs of partners and align company offerings to meet those needs.
- Strengthen relationships by utilizing technical knowledge within industry organizations and events, engaging key stakeholders, and when offering clients the most innovative solutions
- Communicating and promoting EAG’s culture and brand creating awareness of our ability to stand out as an innovative and reliable industry leader across defined markets.
- Improve work efficiency and effectiveness by formulating lessons learned and best practices by conducting debrief meetings with clients, supply chain, project management and executives.
- Becoming and remaining continually informed on industry developments and the competitive landscape.
- Develop and implement business development strategies and plans.
- Monitor and analyze market trends.
- Memorializing account and opportunity data in CRM software
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience confirming personal values align with all EAG Core Values.
- Experience in business development in the construction industry
- Progressive experience working with indigenous communities in mutually beneficial relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
