This route operates Mon/Tue (overnight), Thu/Fri (overnight). Wednesday could be a day off, or can assist in city with warehouse delivery drops.

Title: Class 1A Rural Manitoba Route Driver

Address: Unit B – 1225 Plessis Road, Winnipeg, MB

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Route is based out of Winnipeg and delivers to Rural Northwestern Manitoba (Dauphin, Roblin, Neepawa, Brandon, PLaP, etc)
• Operate Power jack
• Secure fresh and frozen products and materials securely in areas as needed according to POD’S, transport to delivery locations, collect signatures and payments
• Deliver customer orders by hand bombing and/or pallet drops
• Guarantee product is maintained at required temperatures with basic knowledge of refrigeration systems
• Perform daily maintenance checks and operating ELDs via GeoTab Drive
• Keep vehicles clean inside and out
• Enter order information on computerized hand-held device
• Adhere to all SOPs and company policies on an ongoing bases
• Handle customer inquiries and ensure positive customer interactions on daily bases
• Perform other duties as assigned

Employment Requirements:

• Class 1A license
• Experience with 53 foot trailers
• Must provide a clean driving abstract
• Must be physically fit – able to handle products weighing up to 50 lbs
• Will need to pass a criminal record check
• Experience with reefer trailers
• Must have a minimum of 2 years Class 1A experience
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Authorized to work in Canada
