Customer Service Rep & Marketing Coordinator (on-site in Brantford) Job at Mott Manufacturing Ltd.

Purpose:

To assist in the delivery of marketing programs to support expansion of the company products and to support marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. To act as the primary liaison and customer support for project managers and estimators from the dealer community.

Reports to:

Customer Service Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Enter orders
  • Estimate & price custom items
  • Interpret design drawings and reference them in orders
  • Perform order revisions, and cancellations, as necessary
  • Function as the primary liaison to our dealer network and building relationships through daily phone and email communication
  • Provide shipping, design and engineering information obtained from those departments to our dealer network when requested to do so
  • Participate in on and off site dealer training and/or trade shows
  • Enter Corrective Preventative Actions (CPA) when necessary
  • Assist the President, Vice President, Customer Service Supervisor or Marketing Specialist with additional projects as required
  • Develop, communicate and maintain presentations, newsletters and other materials related to marketing
  • Book hotels for dealers and customers visiting Mott and occasionally for Mott employees who travel
  • Arrange for meals for dealer training or customer visits
  • Work with dealers in the development of case studies, references, and testimonials
  • Coordinate and participate in events including meetings, trade shows and exhibits

Skills & Experience:

  • Degree or Diploma in Marketing or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a marketing role
  • Minimum of 1 year of expereince with inside sales
  • Ability to read blueprints and data sheets
  • Intermediate computer skills including In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Corel, PDF editing software and MS Office
  • Attention to detail is critical
  • Intermediate verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to be proactive
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Willingness to travel
  • Has a "can-do" attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $23.00 per hour
