Cybersecurity Jr Analyst Job at BRP
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the IT Security Manager, the cybersecurity analyst mainly performs operational cybersecurity activities. Additionally:
Investigate alerts and phishing attempts.
Recommend and contribute to the implementation of recurrent IT security operations.
Analyze vulnerability reports and suggest prioritization and corrective measures to be deployed.
Offer direct support to the admin team and IT staff regarding security.
Supervise and take part in the management of vulnerabilities and corrective actions.
Management of the cybersecurity awareness platform
Management of cybersecurity tools.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in IT, information systems or a related field of study, or a combination of education and relevant practical experience;
Minimum one year of experience in cybersecurity;
Keen interest in learning.
Experience with security products (e.g. antivirus, intrusion and malware detection systems, encryption software, web security filters).
Great analysis and problem-solving ability.
Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
Motivated and independent with attention to detail.
Ability to work with the administrative and technical team staff.
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent knowledge of French and English. Knowledge of German or Spanish is a plus.
