TalentWorld is recruiting a Data Entry Specialist (Cash) in Victoria, British Columbia for one of our clients.

DES Responsibilities

• Accurately sort and handle payments with a high degree of attention to protect and control cash.
• Accurately process and prepare commercial deposit documentation.
• Accurately prepare and process cash and check deposits.
• Process returned mail in accordance with established procedures.
• Counts, sorts, and prepares incoming mail for processing.
• Prepares, reviews, and balances daily work to ensure accuracy.
• Create and maintain logs for tracking purposes
• Review and enter data updates in the systems
• Review discrepancies in data received
• Advise supervisor of issues related data
• Comply with data integrity and security policies.

DES Qualifications

• High School Graduate
• Experience in fast food services, customer service, cashier, or equivalent field
• Alphanumeric data entry skills and above-average typing skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented with respect to ensuring the accuracy of transactions.
• Ability to meet deadlines within timelines is critical.
• Able to pass a background check and credit checks
• Able to lift 25lbs unassisted
• Able to start immediately

Employment Details

• Salary: $17.00 per hour
• Benefits: Part-time hours available, long-term employment,
• Schedule: 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM from Monday to Friday
• Other: until January 2023 with the possibility of extension and becoming permanent.
