Opening Position: Delivery Driver/ Warehouse Worker

True World Foods is one of the nation's premier importers and distributors of Sushi grade seafood and Japanese Foods products to grocery store and sushi served restaurants. True World Foods serves more than 1,5000 restaurants in Canada and U.S.

We are looking for responsible, motivated, dedicated employees join our staff as delivery drivers and warehouse work who can drive a truck.

Position Summary

Participates in a variety of order preparation and warehouse work, and in the delivery of products to customers. Verifies products from the warehouse and loads and unloads vehicles. Delivers products daily to customers.

Basic Job Description

• Pick, process, and pack fresh, frozen, or dry products according to customer specifications.
• Drives truck to pick up products from suppliers or deliver products to customers.
• Checks products and assembles them according to customer orders.
• Loads and unloads products into and from truck.
• Reviews invoices and matches them to ensure that orders are accurate and locates missing products and/or initiate corrections.
• Provide professional customer care/service upon delivery and other occasion.
• Completes daily logs, equipment reports, trip reports, and any other documents as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and/or by the company.
• Periodically participates in other warehouse cleaning, sanitation and/or product handling.
• Organize inventory.
• Receives shipments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carrying more 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
• Valid driver license with an excellent driving history
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Reliability
• Able to read English and do basic math.

Hours

• Full time, 40 hours plus available overtime
• Typical day starts from 7 AM and ends around 4 PM
• Rotating Saturdays
