Location: Vancouver International Airport.

Job Duties:

• Clean dishes, glassware, kitchen, food preparation equipment, and utensils using dish washing machine
• Follow proper hygiene standards and ensure high levels of cleanliness in accordance to Provincial Policies.
• Maintain and ensure a clean work station and all storage areas.
• Clean kitchen equipment after use.
• Perform cleaning duties after each shift or as required.
• Maintain and replenish inventory regularly and adopting methods to reduce wastage.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly bussed to the washing point.
• Assist in the cleaning of kitchen equipment as required.
• Assist in loading and unloading of supplies.
• Ensure lounge opening and closing procedure are well followed.
• Ensure that proper cleaning procedures are adhered to and personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn at all times during the shift. Employees are expected to follow all health and safety regulations, enforced and updated by the company.
• Transport food, equipment or stock from one lounge to the other; or to different locations.
• Take up any additional duties and work based on operational requirement as assigned by on duty manager, such as cover duties for colleague during their break.
• Work with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• Able to lift up 50lbs.
• Able to stand for long hours.
• Able to work different hours of shift, no fixed schedule.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to understand English.
• Able to multitask and plan ahead.
• Able to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a vaccine recognized by the Public Health Agency of Canada.
