DZ Driver Job at The Meat Depot
The Meat Depot is based in Oshawa, Ontario. We are looking for a Driver, Full Time, Monday - Friday and one Saturday every 5 weeks.
Job Responsibilities:
* Deliver product and proper paperwork to our customers in a courteous and timely manner
* Ensure that any debris caused by the loading/unloading of truck is cleaned up
* Provide feedback to supervision regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems
* Maintain trucks overall service and perform required inspections
* Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift. May include, but not limited to, daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspection, hours of service, etc.
* Occasionally assist in loading and unloading of trucks
* Perform periodic inspections before, during, and after delivery to ensure that load is properly fastened down and is secure
Requirements:
* Top compensation with OverTime paid after 44 hours
$1,000 annual bonus for accident free driving
$100 safety boot credit per year
Co-pay benefit plan available
$21 per hour to start, first review at 3 months then annual increases
Start between 5:00am and 6:00am ---Finish 5:00pm to 7:00pm
Exceptionally well maintained trucks and equipment
* Minimum 3+ years of driving experience
* Valid DZ License
* Clean Driver’s abstract and CVOR
* * Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities
* High level of personal integrity
* Strong work ethic
* Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations
