Qualifications/skills

Required - Current ECE or IT certificate

-1st Aid

-Good sense of humour

Clear criminal record check

-Outdoors-oriented

-Professional, and also a little bit silly!

-Experience with toddlers and preschoolers

-Familiarity with Brightwheel App would be an asset

-Resume with references required

Hours: Full time, 32 to 40 hours per week. Shifts between 7:30-5:30

Salary: is based on Experience and credentials. $19-$20 per hour PLUS $4 hour wage enhancement for ECE certificate

Benefits: Dental/Medical after 3 months probation (full time employees)

Paid sick time: 12 days/year

Vacation: 4% holiday pay for first 5 years, 6% beyond 5 years

Our Daycare operates on the traditional territory of the Northern Secwepemc peoples. We are located at 660 North Second Ave in Williams Lake, with Douglas-fir trees, earthworms, a “pea-gravel store”, seasonal rose hips, swings, and a variety of playground equipment in the play yard out back, and garden beds out front.
