We currently have a full-time opening for an Intermediate Embedded Software Developer to join our team in Victoria BC working on our TyreSense product line.

Required education and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent
• 5 years of industry experience in software development
• Experience in object oriented, multi-threaded, and real time programming
• Strong, demonstrable coding skills in C or C++
• Firmware development environments including compilers and debuggers
• Solid understanding of software design principles and coding standards

Desired experience:

• ARM Cortex M or equivalent microprocessors
• Familiarity with serial protocols such as SPI, UART, I2C, and CAN
• FreeRTOS or equivalent
• Embedded development with LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth
• GNU toolchain (make and gcc)
• Software revision control systems
• Embedded Linux development (Raspberry Pi/Beagle)
• Unit testing

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems
