This is a leadership role in the Engineering Department focused on: managing the Engineering team and staff’s overall output and activities.


Responsibilities & Outcomes:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Engineering Team to advance the Business/Organizational and Functional/Technical competencies of the team while maintaining a cohesive group
  • Provide support and technical guidance to the Engineering Team to ensure the production of assigned work occurs in an efficient manner
  • Oversee the allocation of work to the Engineering Team

The Individual:

  • Must have a successful track record in managing complex engineering projects
  • New product and process introduction experience

Skills, Capabilities, and Experience:

  • Engineering Technology course from an accredited college/university required
  • Professional Engineering Status (P.Eng) designation or Certified Engineering Technologist (CET)
  • 5+ years of work experience in progressively increasing levels of supervision required
  • Recent experience managing medium to large projects
  • Leadership experience: managing direct reports, influencing without authority, leading organization transformation initiatives
