This is a virtual/remote position considering candidates who reside within the Vancouver area.
What you will do
The Field Project Manager will lead Sensormatic Solutions installation projects. You will provide subject matter expertise in areas including project management, product solutioning, project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, and facilitation, as well as maintain control of schedule, overall project cost, quality, and customer expectations/satisfaction. In addition, the Field Project Manager will prepare and present all project updates to management and/or customers, an overall summary and status of expected results including project completion forecasting. Will manage vendor/partner relationships throughout the installation and ensure projects are closed on time, on budget, and in scope.
How you will do it
Methodology - Understanding of Project Management Institute’s (PMI) methodology and key knowledge areas; Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communications, Risk, and Procurement Management.
Communication/Coordination - Responsible for communication and status reporting from inception to project close out to the project team, customer, and Sensormatic Solutions management. Responsible for work plan, managing project resources, project schedule, change requests, and providing technical advice and problem resolution to all aspects of project.
Fiscal - Responsible for tracking overall projects expenditures and installation progress through reviews of status updates provided by field service personnel. Modify schedules of plans as required. Maintain full financial accountability to project by providing clear cost estimates for all installation sites. Costs are identified prior to project start to the field service support team, so they can maintain individual site/location budgets.
Quality - Maintain full accountability to project quality; verifying site installations through sign offs completed and photos provided by the field service personnel or installing vendor/partners. Quality to include verifying system functionality and workmanship provided by our installing vendor/partners and internal field service personnel.
Customer Service – Attend and lead site meetings with internal and external customers as required. Provide responsive, concise, and professional support to all customers and other personnel and ensures timely follow-up on all customer concerns and issues.

Requirements
Post-secondary education related fields of study: Computer/Network, Electronics/Electrical, Project Management
5+ years work-related experience managing and coordinating small to large scale security installations in medium to high volume environment.
Experience in Retail industry construction/renovation
General electronic security systems implementation knowledge with exposure to EAS/Video/RFID equipment
Occasional travel is required to customer sites as needed within Canada.
English fluency in written and verbal communications
Excellent leadership skills.
Excellent analytical / problem solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills to be persuasive and/or assertive when necessary.
Sensitivity to the others’ point of view to influence behavior or turn a situation around.
Proficiency in Salesforce/Servicemax, Microsoft Office Products, Smartsheet, MS Projects, Auto-Cad etc.
