Front of House Supervisor (Liberty Village) Job at The Islands Caribbean Cookshop
Founded in 2012, we are a growing premium authentic brand restaurant with 3 locations in the GTA - York University, Yonge Sheppard Centre, Liberty Village (2022). Our mission is to continuously elevate and modernize Caribbean Quick Service without compromising authenticity. We are looking for experienced leaders that we can develop and grow within the business.
The Restaurant Supervisor will assist the Store Manager and oversee some of the day-to-day store operations. Assist the Store Manager in helping to Coach, and develop a team. This position will oversee all staff and ensure each shift is run effectively with operational excellence and genuine hospitality. Successful execution of duties include:
- Participating in the hiring, development and coaching of new hires
- Enforcement and reporting of restaurant systems, policies, and procedures.
- And most importantly, ensuring industry leading customer service.
- Manage all assigned administrative and operational tasks. These areas include but are not limited to Inventory counts and reporting to staff, staff training and coaching & development.
Provide leadership, assisting in business management and planning; ensure proper financial processing, and reporting to upper management.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience
- Experience with some management and delegation
- Experience completing administrative tasks and using Microsoft Office
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
