THE DETAILS:

You get to work in a 90-degree 4-foot pool teaching & coaching swim lessons to 4 students at a time for 30 minutes. You really get to make a difference in your students' lives. You will be engaging with children ages 4 months to 12 years of age in the joy of learning & swimming.

JOB OVERVIEW:

• Work with the Aquatic Manager on Aqua-Tots Swim Schools daily operations thereby, ensuring company core values, customer satisfaction, and revenue streams are implemented and maintained.
• Work with the Owner, GM and Regional Managers to effectively oversee all aspects of Aquatics operations, including: hiring, scheduling, aquatics meetings, assessing analytics and reporting, assisting in marketing initiatives, ensuring flawless lessons, and more.

INSTRUCTOR DUTIES:

• Uphold our Aqua-Tots Swim Schools Core Values
• Set-up teaching areas
• Clean and maintain pool areas before and after each shift
• Understand and uphold AT pool fouling/closing policies
• Teach in accordance with AT curriculum
• Be knowledgeable regarding parent questions about progression and AT curriculum
• Fill out digital Aqua Cards on a consistent basis

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Be available for 4 shifts weekly, at a minimum.
• Successful candidates will have an evening and weekend availability.
• Current National Lifeguard (complete or in the process of being completed). If you have your NL, you do not need your Water Safety Instructor (WSI) – we provide paid WSI Certification Training.
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Screening (for candidates over 18). A clear report is a condition of employment, at the candidates own expense, to verify the absence of a criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted.
