Are you a security guard looking for an unique mobile guard position? Safety Net Security is hiring a Full Time Mobile Guard to patrol privately owned woodlands between Qualicum Beach and Parksville.

What you will be getting:

• 40 hours/week between either Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday

What you will be doing:

• Patrolling privately owned woodlands between Qualicum Beach and Parksville
• Ensure personal and client safety while protecting property, investments and personnel against theft, vandalism, and other illegal activity.
• Provide high level customer service in a sometimes challenging and dynamic environment
• Responding to emergency situations
• Write and document incident reports
• Maintain a visible security presence
• Enforce regulations and follow site specific instructions

What you need to have to succeed in this role:

• Valid BC Security Worker License with experience as a security
• Driver’s License and clean abstract
• Experience in navigating unpaved roads and safely under adverse weather conditions.
• Fluency to speak, read and write in English
• Confidence with technology (i.e. smart phone, tablet, Body Worn Cameras etc.)
• Strong decision-making skills and calm demeanor
• Ability to work varied shifts, weekends, and occasional night shifts
• Competent in the use of electronic reporting and information collecting applications such as the SNAP reporting system, Avigilon, Avenza Maps, and Outlook
