Gas Technician - Tech B Job at Blackburn Bennett Plumbing & Heating Inc.

The following responsibilities are expected from the job:
- Maintain a strong focus on safety while working at all times.
- Accurately troubleshoot failures on gas equipment in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks at various locations when needed.
- Maintain good relationships with customers when responding to questions or inquiries.
- Test and replace defective equipment.
- Prepare reports on work performed.
- Install, maintain and service gas heating units and their components, such as burners, valves and automatic controls.
- Installation of Boiler, Hot Air Furnaces, Water Heaters and Kitchen Appliances.
- Installation of Propane Tanks and Propane Equipments.
The following education and experience is also required:
- Gas Tech B Licensed
- Minimum 3 years experience.
- Valid drivers license.
- Ability to work with a high level of organization.
- Customer service focused.
- Team player and strong communicator.
- Able to Organize event on scheduler/ planner and Follow up with customers on open jobs.
- Able to do Blue Print Reading.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $34.00-$38.00 per hour
