Job Function Overview

• The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast paced assembly operation completing a number of repetitive tasks
• The ability to operate hand tools is a definite asset
• Training is provided
• Keep work place organized
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Handle Materials – within the shop and outdoors as required
• Work effectively and efficiently to complete your work within the job standard
• Knowledgeable about various tools and equipment, including: jigsaw, drills, chop saw, tape measure, blueprints, etc

Skills:

• Must be punctual and possess a strong work ethic
• Mechanically inclined
• Perform work safely and follow established work procedures
• Willing to learn, flexible & reliable
• Physical effort and dexterity is required

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience in the fitting/welder discipline
• Experience using power tools or hand tools (drills, squares, measuring tape etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as a team

Hours per week: Monday to Friday, 40 hours

Salary: Dependent on experience.

Benefits: Yes, after completion of 90 days probationary period

Equipment required: Steel toed boots with metatarsal guard
