Grocery Manager Job at Hazel's Your Independent Grocer
We currently have an opening for the Grocery Manager position.
Some requirements are;
*previous retail/grocery store leadership role
*have lead a team of 5 or more
*ability to resolve conflict
*self motivated and work with a sense of urgency
*team player
*an eye for detail/finesse
*the ability to effectively communicate iniatives to the team
Some duties include;
*Receiving goods/unloading trucks with manual pallet jack
*Inventory control/keeping shelves well stocked and product rotated
*ordering and mainaining accurate perpetual inventory through regular store walks and cycle counts
*Shrink and labour control
*build display ends to standards
*work with team members to ensure they know and follow merchandising expectations and standards
*Performance manage/motivate staff
Previous Grocery store experience an asset
SAP knowledge an asset however not required
This is a salaried position, there will be times where it will be required for you to work beyond your scheduled shift should an unforseen circumstance arise such as a late delivery.
