Job Summary/Basic Function
A Groundsperson II performs horticultural and maintenance functions in the operation of City parks, gardens, sports fields, nursery facilities and other green spaces. The work involves a variety of disciplines including turf grass management, irrigation systems, horticultural propagation, pest management and arboriculture.

Duties
This position will directly support the Sportsfield and Irrigation Team, ensuring the many sportsfields and green spaces within the city are maintained to an optimal level for all user groups. Experience in turfgrass management and maintaining irrigation systems would be an asset.
