Manatokan Oilfield Services Inc., part of the ASCO Group of Companies, is a full-service fluid management company with bases in La Corey (Lakeland Region) and Conklin (Athabasca Region), Alberta, Canada. We are currently looking for experienced Heavy-Duty Mechanics in both locations from apprentice level to journeyman level.

Job Description

· Perform preventative maintenance on our fleet of fluid hauling equipment (Water Truck, Tanker, Super B Tanker, Body Vac, Combo Vac, Semi Vac, Pressure Truck 5K, High Pressure Equipment 15K - 40K, Chemical Trucks)

· Contribute to the ongoing preventative maintenance of company equipment

· Complete inspections and maintenance on company equipment

· Overhaul and refurbishment of all components of truck and trailer

· Maintenance of accurate records of all service and repair work

Minimum Competencies (Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours)

· Apprentice level 1 to Journeyman certification

· One to five years of relevant practical experience

· Valid Class 5 drivers' licence, Class 1 license is an asset

· The ability to regularly lift to 50 pounds

· Computer proficiency

· Ability to work within a team and follow directions from supervision

· Driven to provide excellent customer service

· Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

• Demonstrate an uncompromising commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment
• Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems and the ability to provide your own tools
• Oilfield experience preferred
• Prior experience with Kenworth and Peterbilt preferred
• Prior experience with Westech and Custom Vac preferred

Travel allowance provided.

Depending on location, the schedule will be either Monday to Friday or one of several rotational patterns (21/14, 14 /7, 14 /14, 7/7, 8/6)

The successful candidate will be required to undertake and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
