Home Medical Equipment Delivery Driver (Part-Time/Casual) - Lindsay, ON

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for completing various regulatory paperwork, including TDG
• Complete routine assessments and testing of equipment and identify potential repairs
• Shipping and receiving
• Provide verbal product education and supporting documentation to clients in accordance with company procedures in the office, in customer homes and the hospital
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
• Maintain good housekeeping practices
• Complete daily inventory tasks
• Deliveries, and pickups of home oxygen equipment as needed in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Requirements:

• 3 years valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• 1-year experience working in a customer service environment
• Homecare and sales experience an asset
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Computer skills
• Commitment to safety is a must
• Must have a proven ability to manage relationships with current and new customers as well as maintain knowledge of Homecare sales growth and development areas
• Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 75 pounds
• Ability to use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating parts and tools repetitively
• Performing physical tasks that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials up to 75 pounds
• Walking on uneven surfaces on customer sites
• Walking in inclement weather
• Ability to use abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time to complete specific maintenance tasks
• Ability to complete tasks in restricted spaces or awkward positions
• Required to be seated for extended periods of time (driving to client sites, admin paperwork)
