Industrial Engineer in Waterloo !
Position Summary and Responsibilities
Our Process Engineering group is looking for an
Industrial Engineer to develop, improve and ensure the effective flow of our systems, processes and operations in manufacturing.
In this role, the primary responsibilities will be to ensure a smooth transition of our Standard Catalogue and Application Specific Catalogue of new products into our manufacturing operations.
Key responsibilities :
- Improve and develop processes that use our ERP system allowing for proper manufacturing costing upon release of products as well as establishing material supply chain strategies during the early days of production.
- Assessments and enhancements to our production flow while considering changes that are required for complexed processes that ensure successful execution to assemble and deliver our products.
The main deliverables for this position is to ensure our manufacturing operations are meeting the required capacity, quality and efficiencies our customers demand.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Management.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Industrial Engineer or experience in a similar role.
- PEO designation.
- Needs to be ITAR / CG eligible.
- Experience working with SAP Hanna is an asset
- Experience with statistical analysis techniques using SPC, DOE and other statistical tools is an asset.
- Experience coordinating and running Kaizen, Lean and ToC is an asset.
