Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment using hand and power tools
• Inspect and maintain mobile equipment at all our facilities
• Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions
• Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts
• Operating machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery
• Ensuring operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications and installations
• Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
• Cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery
• Adhering to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances
• Maintaining a clean and environmentally safe work area
• Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures
• Transfer equipment to the applicable site for maintenance to avoid contamination or safety hazards
• Performing other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Eligible to work in Canada
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Maintenance
• In-depth knowledge of mobile and farm equipment
• Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment
• Experience of Mig and Stick welding - Welding experience a must
• Must be able to work well in a team environment
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Fluent in written and verbal English
