As Patriot Forge Co. forging and machining capabilities continue to grow we are looking to add hard-working Industrial Mechanic Millwrights looking for a challenge to our maintenance department

As an experienced Millwright, you will provide maintenance support to our forging, machining and shipping departments.

Responsibilities:

• Repair, rebuild and perform preventative maintenance tasks
• Weld, repair and perform maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical systems, gearboxes, machine tools, gas furnaces and overhead cranes
• Capable of rebuilding hydraulic cylinders and accumulators along with basic welding skills
• Maintain standard housekeeping (5S) in the Maintenance area
• Comply with company policies and procedures
• Perform additional responsibilities as required and appointment by management

Experience:

• Interprovincial Certificate of Qualification will be given preference
• Provincial Certificate of Qualification minimum
• Technical Standards and Safety Authority Industrial Maintenance Technician designation is considered an asset
• Strong hydraulic troubleshooting skills are a must
• Must have own maintenance tools
• Good command of the English language both written and verbal
• Excellent reading and interpreting machine assembly drawings and hydraulic schematics
• Basic computer skills
• Demonstrated communication, problem-solving, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts (day/afternoon or continental)
