Days Shift 7am-3.30pm; Monday -Friday; with some overlap to oversee the afternoon shift

Our client is a global manufacturing company with manufacturing plants in several countries. They have a strategic plant in Canada and are now hiring Maintenance Lead Hand-Licensed Millwright (433a -Must have) as a hands-on maintenance lead hand / maintenance supervisor. You will be responsible for diagnostics, repair, troubleshooting heavy industrial equipment like crushers, mixers, grinders and lead a team of 4-5 technicians in a non-union environment. This is a dusty environment, with health & safety measures in place but with a compulsory mandate to wear N95 when on the floor, for H&S reasons. This role will need physical ability to do confined space entry, climb stairs and other similar physical activity.

Maintenance Lead Hand-Licensed Millwright (433a) will be responsible for mentoring and coaching junior technicians, perform hands on diagnostics and troubleshooting activities and repair all equipment. You will oversee work orders and be the Subject Matter Expert for heavy equipment within construction, cement, mining type industry and many similar heavy industrial equipment. You will work on hydraulics pneumatics ensure PM are being followed and work with Operations to ensure equipment availability and asset health at all given times. This is a 24*7 site, with maintenance working weekdays on day afternoon shift in a non-union, fast paced, family type corporate environment

Maintenance Lead Hand-Licensed Millwright (433a) will have a minimum of 7 years hands-on experience as licensed millwright in heavy equipment diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair, ideally with some supervisory experience. License 433a (MUST have), excellent communication skills in English are a MUST to be able to work with other maintenance leaders in other parts of the world, 2nd language German is an asset. Ability to work in a team environment and independently is a MUST have. This is a fast-paced environment with an ability to grow long-term with the organization.
