One Care Inc is a dynamic and energetic team who loves making a difference in the lives of children with Autism. One Care Inc. was established in 2008 and offers Clinic, Academy and Community based Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) services in Durham Region.

One Care is looking for individuals who would like to join our practice in delivering 1:1 and group based intervention for children diagnosed with ASD.

One Care Inc. has also been chosen to provide the Ontario Autism Program Entry to School program with their regional partners at 4 different locations in Eastern Ontario. (Through the MCCS) We are excited to offer these new programs to our communities.

One Care Inc. is hiring permanent full-time Instructor Therapists to fill positions located in Oshawa as well as potential openings within the Entry to School program in the following cities/towns: Lindsay, Peterborough, Port Hope/Cobourg, Bellville. This will start as an hourly position which can evolve into a salaried position.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Implement 1:1 and small group behavior intervention and therapy programming for children
• Conduct assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS, AFLS, etc.)
• Assist in implementing behaviour plans
• Perform daily data collection and graphing
• Participate in parent training sessions
• Attend supervision meetings
• Reliably keep consistent schedule with families.
• Ensure requirements for documentation of clinical services are implemented
• Community support
• Participate in toileting and self-help routines with clients

Your position may also include:

• 6 months in-person services with children between the ages of 4 and 6 in a developmental play based program.
• All training to deliver programming will be provided.
• Supervision by BCBA will be provided
• The other 6 months will include preparing materials for ETS program, providing therapy to your own caseload, possible administrative duties, possible future group programing, assisting BCBA with transition of students to their home schools.

Qualifications:

• Behavioural Science Diploma, Registered Behaviour Technician and/or Diploma/Degree equivalent to the field. Related fields include: psychology, developmental services, social services, child and youth work, etc.
• RBT (Registered Behaviour Technician) certification is an asset. Support provided for obtaining the credential.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated to teach and learn more about Applied Behavior Analysis.

Requirements:

• Background check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
• CPR and First Aid completed and up to date
• Transportation: Must be willing to travel within Durham Region, shifts will take place both in our Oshawa centre and client homes.
• Access to a computer and smart phone
• Adherence to Behavior Analyst Certification Board Professional and Ethical Compliance Code and the Standards of Practice from the Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysts (ONTABA)
• Must be able to independently and repeatedly lift, move and carry objects weighing up to 35 lbs, must be able to sit on the floor with children, be able to run, walk at a fast pace and be energetic.

Rate: TBD based on experience.
