Currently, we are assisting our client in the Hamilton and Burlington areas with their search for Commercial Insurance Advisors. This is a full-time, permanent position for a leading Canadian owned insurance company with over 70 years of success. The successful candidates are motivated, eager to learn and goal driven. Candidates must also have previous experience within the sales industry.

Responsibilities Include:

• Responsible for sales, service and the profitable growth of personal and speciality lines.
• Provide advice and recommendations on coverages and policies which meet client needs.
• Complete inspections and re-inspections
• Respond to client questions or concerns, resolve customer complaints/issues.
• Complete front-line risk assessment and selection
• Activity prospect for all lines of business by identifying and recommending additional products and searches which benefit clients.
• Provide Admin support as needed

Qualifications:

• Post Secondary education completion
• General Life License
• Minimum 2 years experience in Insurance and/or Sales industry
• Knowledge/experience within the Commercial industry strongly encouraged
• Must have own vehicle (required)
• Must have clear criminal background and upstanding credit
