Summary:
Trimac Transportation headquartered in Calgary, AB, is looking for a Business Analyst Intern to assist with Trimac's five-year corporate strategy. This position is to assist a current student in securing corporate business planning experience. The candidate will be assigned specific deliverables for the corporate transformation projects that will contribute to the success of the overall company strategy.
The Intern will be reporting to the Director Program Management.

The Intern will be reporting to the Director Program Management.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the project team by completing assigned tasks per the agreed timeline
- Collecting and documenting business requirements
- Documenting business processes
- Developing test plans and test scripts
- Conducting solution testing
- Training users
- Assist with master data analysis and cleansing.
- Provide end-user communication.
This allows exposure to:
- Build and maintain corporate key performance indicators, and a management information framework to enable senior leaders to assess business performance, and to identify areas of focus for improvement initiatives.
- Support initiatives to drive business performance improvement through operations and at the corporate level.
Skills:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software
- A keen eye for detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong written and verbal skills at both the technical/business level.
- Self-starter with the ability to work effectively with internal business users and external service providers/vendors.
- Ability to adapt between independent and team projects, in the role of member/leader/mentor.
- Delivering on agile projects.
- Ability to manage time among multiple assignments in a busy, fast-paced work environment.
