We are seeking a Joint Venture Contract Manager to join the Ethylene 3 Joint Venture plant operator’s leadership team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the complex and long-term Ethylene 3 Joint Venture contracts.
You Will Use Your Expertise To:
Act as a key member of the plant leadership team with a goal to ensure plant operational objectives align to contracts and co-owner direction
Integrate contract requirements into day to day plant operations Act as key interface and primary point of contact for operational and financial data, including presenting at management committee and subcommittee meetings
Lead Joint Venture accounting team and ensure accounting, billing and reporting is accurate and contractually compliant
Coordinate joint venture contract compliance audits when requested by co-owner
Develop three year forecast and annual budgets for approval by co-owners
Address co-owner queries and foster positive relationships
Work with Joint Venture Commercial Manager to support contract amendments and commercial negotiations
What We Are Looking For: University graduate (Engineering, Business or equivalent) with 10+ years of industry related experience and continued professional development Previous experience as a strategic business advisor on joint venture management, governance, and risk Proven ability to negotiate and manage complex commercial contracts and relationships Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work in a diverse and sometimes adversarial environment with ability to gain alignment from a variety of internal and external stakeholders Demonstrated proficiency in financial, business, and technical analysis Previous experience with SAP and technical analysis software is an asset Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Teams Skilled in professional communication and correspondence
Additional Information:
Relocation will be considered for this position
Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience
This role requires up to 0-10% travel
The successful candidate is required to provide proof of a valid driver’s license
