Roles & Responsibilities
Understanding client editorial and Tone and voice policies and guidelines, and making decisions based on them
- Reviewing user reports regarding website news/feed content
- Tagging or labeling content to appropriate categories
- Identifying improvement opportunities in workflow and suggesting solutions
- Liaising effectively with other internal and client teams
Skillsets
- Basic journalistic ability to differentiate between types of content, writing styles, publications, websites etc.
- Must be proficient and fluent in English.
- Solid knowledge of major news events in the world and good understanding of Tabloid (Sensationalist) journalism
- MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Excel
Should be initiative taker, quick learner and willing to share the workload within the team.
Preferable 2 to 3 years as a content writer/sub editor or Journalist
