Journeyman Machinist Position Available

Humfrey Industrial Repairs is a machining, fabrication and welding facility with over 60 years in the industry. Applicants starting wage would be $32 - $45 /hr based on skill set, shop floor experience and years as a Red Seal Machinist.

Job Requirements:

5-10 years Job shop experience a must.

Must be fully capable to set-up and operate manual machines including lathe machine, milling machine and boring mill.

Can operate a drill press and hydraulic press.

Experience with Hydraulic and Pneumatic equipment required.

Proficient in reading and understanding engineered drawings, blueprints, charts & tables.

Red Seal ticket experience with own tools required.

CNC Machining & Welding experience would be a benefit.

Ability to estimate jobs, have attention to detail and ensure machine shop floor is efficient.

Have the ability to complete tasks safely and efficiently, while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to deal directly with customers and be a team player is required.

Ability to work independently on job-site repairs.

High School Diploma

Red Seal Journeyman Machinist Certification

5 Year Minimum Red Seal Experience Required

10 Year Minimum Red Seal Experience Preferred
