Junior network administrator Job at VUE IT INC
- Provide basic-to-advanced level support to users of computer systems and related equipment by answering incoming support calls and troubleshooting issues using all resources available
- Be involved in the day-to-day functions of user support for internal and external clients, system support, and application development/testing
- Install, configure and update Windows operating systems and application software. Create new user accounts or change existing user accounts in Windows Active Directory, Office 365 in response to OIC business needs and suspend, disable or remove user accounts for departing employees.
- Test and replace computer parts such as, RAM, Hard Disk et…
- Move, connect and setup computer systems for new employees.
- Cable management for network devices.
- Configure email clients such as Outlook and Apple mail with Exchange online mailbox.
- Have a mean to drive to customer sites when needed to provide onsite support.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Be able to take after hours calls and scheduled system maintenance.
- Monitor and test server backups using Veeam software.
- Demonstrate sound judgment, tact, discretion, often under situations of considerable pressure
- Work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, collegial and collaborative work environment
