Line Cook/Breakfast Cook Job at Mount Royal Family Restaurant
We are looking for full time/part time cooks to join our team.
- Hours of operation are 8am-3pm Tuesday to Sunday.
- Weekday or weekend availability
- Experience encouraged but not required.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare cooking station for service
- prepare various foods
- arrange sauces and supplementary garnishes
- cover, date and correctly store all good prep items
- notify owner in advance of likely shortages
- Cook Breakfast, lunch and grill items
- close the kitchen correctly with proper closing checklist
- maintain a prepared and sanitary work area at all times
- keep entire kitchen area clean throughout the shift
- ensure grills, stove top, steamer, walk in cooler and freezers are clean and ready for use
- make sure all storage areas are tidy and all products are stored appropriately.
- consistently use safe and hygienic food handling practices
Requirements:
