Linehaul Business Opportunity – Prince George based
Welcome to Claddagh Services Ltd., a privately owned and operated freight cartage company providing highway and in-town cartage and distribution agency services for Clark Freightways.
We currently have a business opportunity to purchase a One Owner, gently used 2011 Kenworth W900B Sleeper Cab to become an Owner-Operator out of our Prince George operation. Domiciled in Prince George, this run originates from PG and will be a mix of runs West to Prince Rupert, North to Dawsons Creek and South to Coquitlam averaging in between 9000-10,000 miles per month. Paid by the hour for all work hours and waiting, paid by the mile for all miles driven. Forklift and DG training certification provided by Company.
Requirements:
· Class 1 license with a prohibition-free drivers’ abstract.
· LTL experience an asset.
· Competent in English, both spoken and written.
· Professional, mature attitude.
· 2 Years minimum driving experience.
· Confident driving in winter conditions.
· Previous forklift experience.
We offer a competitive mileage and work time rate:
· $0.45 fuel cap.
· Company fuel card provided.
· $46.00 per hour work and wait rate.
· Competitive mileage rate.
· Paid work time for pre-trips, post-trips, load and unloads, wait-time, chain up.
· Settlement on the last day of every month, with advances on the 15th and the 22nd to support cash flow.
