You can expect to be responsible for Linux and Cloud Administration activities that include Setting Up, Maintaining, andTroubleshooting Raspberry Pi IoT Devices, Tier 2 Customer Support, Customer and User Management and Access, Network/Routing/Firewall/VPN Configuration, Azure Cloud Administration for your Natus product line.

Here’s what you can expect:

Location: You can work from a Natus site or 100% Remote in North America

Main Responsibilities

• Provision, maintain, and troubleshoot Raspberry Pi based IoT Devices
• Tier 2 Customer Phone Support
• Azure Cloud VM, Backups, Network, Security, and Best Practices Administration
• Administer Customer and User access to the Devices and Sites
• Manage Third Party Software and Services the IoT Device Infrastructure relies on
• Document IoT Device processes and establish Tier 1 Support Procedures
• Travel: minimal, up to 10% travel on a customer need basis

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Computer Science or Related Field and 3 years experience in Linux Administration; a combination of education and experience may be considered
• An enthusiastic technologist wanting to use and learn both bleeding edge and legacy Linux Engineering and Cloud processes and toolsets; if you are motivated and capable to make the next jump in your career this may be the opportunity for you
• Clear Communication Skills and Team Player Mindset in an International Organization
• Customer-facing communications with technical and non-technical persons required
• Azure Cloud administration, provisioning/setup, monitoring, and best practices knowledge required
• Linux administration experience of any Flavor required
• Bash script running and troubleshooting required, script writing experience helpful
• Networking, Routing, VPN, SSH, and Firewall troubleshooting skills required
• Experience with Azure Active Directory user and access management desired
• Raspberry Pi administration experience helpful
• Configuration management software experience desired, Puppet and Foreman preferred
• Email list maintenance and monitoring experience desired
• Medical Device Compliance tools experience desired
