Provide personalized, high level customer service to exceed the expectations of our clients.
· Source qualified carriers to meet the needs of the network; maintain adequate ratios of carrier capacity to customer volume.
· Manage carrier relationships, monitor performance, validate compliance
· Negotiate rates and secure carriers to move freight/book loads
· Clearly define the expectations and details of each load brokered to ensure seamless execution.
· Proactively communicate delays, breakdowns, road closures, etc. to customers, shippers, receivers, and Account Managers. Effectively adjust operating plans to accommodate such circumstances.
· Maintain relevant knowledge of the market/seasonal fluctuations, adapt, and adjust rates accordingly.
Demonstrates 24-hr availability by responding to after hour calls; contacts appropriate personnel and escalates an issue to management when necessary.
Maintains and develops a good relationship with existing and potential customers and company suppliers
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $32,568.49-$50,000.00 per year
