Are you our next Maintenance Engineer?
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer (all levels welcome to apply) to provide technical support to operations, maintenance, and production at our Esterhazy, SK K1 location. In this role you will manage the 5-year capital plan for a prescribed area, work with mechanical integrity, reliability, and capital engineers to drive safe reliable production by developing sound engineered solutions to operating problems. Direct drafting and consulting resources.
What will you be working on?

Direct engineering effort on submitted requests, including informal tech support for maintenance crews.

Capital plan and triage submissions.

Provide safety program support, risk reduction solutions, Safety Focus observations and audits, Housekeeping Audits, EHSMS.

RCA, failure analysis and production support, cost savings.

Construction, workflow support, supervising draftsmen.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following:

Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

0-8+ years of practical engineering experience (Engineering level will be determined by the interview)

Must be able to communicate ideas effectively, work collaboratively with a team and be self-motivated

Previous work experience in a relevant industry is an asset

Employment is subject to successfully completing Mosaic's pre-employment checks including criminal, drug, and alcohol testing

Esterhazy, Canada (Union)
Esterhazy is home to our flagship potash site and mines one of the best ore deposits in the world. Two sites, K1 and K2 (named after the element symbol for potassium ‘K’) have supplied potash to global customers for decades. Currently, a third mine is being built, sensibly named K3.
Underground mining operations at K1 and K2 ended in June 2021. An overland conveyance system carries K3 ore to the existing K1 and K2 mills. As development continues at K3, operations will incrementally shift to the new, state-of-the-art mine.
