Tank Traders® is looking for a Maintenance Manager/Mechanic in St. George, ON!

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager/Mechanic who enjoys doing machine repairs outdoors, has welding and electrical skills, and a good mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret blueprints. This role will also include working directly with our Production Manager and team to ensure smooth daily operations in our production facility. Our ideal candidate is hands-on, self-motivated, flexible, and a strong planner that has the ability to oversee multiple projects in various locations in Ontario.

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical and problem-solving aptitude
• Be proactive in documenting preventative maintenance (PMs)
• Troubleshoot and repair irregularities and malfunctions
• Oversee routine maintenance and workplace safety
• Willingness to learn and be open-minded to new equipment
• Manage installations and projects from start to completion
• Valid Drivers License, Heavy Equipment Operator (Forklift, Loader, Skid steer)

Qualifications:

• 3 years of preventative and regular maintenance in a manufacturing environment or equivalent mechanical experience
• 1-2 years of experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, and VFD operations
• 1-3 years experience of handling installations from start to finish on projects
• 1-2 years of welding experience
• Proficiency in electronic systems, use of computers, and various software
• Willingness to travel to other locations to assist in installation projects and maintenance
• Red Seal Certification as a Millwright is not required; certifications are not a requirement
