Job Summary
The Manager, Clinical Transformation, reporting to the Director Interprofessional Practice, Quality, Transformation, Patient Experience is responsible for clinical process improvement and transformation across all areas of the Hospital to drive the execution of the Strategic Plan. The role is also responsible for supporting the clinical operations team through coaching, training and capacity building. Specifically:

Project Management Leadership:
  • Manage strategic projects in the organization that transform and impact clinical care and practice including the Senior Friendly Strategy
  • Manage strategic interprofessional practice projects that support our Southlake staff including the career pathways work
  • Incorporate best practices and process improvement strategies to major projects within the Interprofessional Practice portfolio
  • Varying levels of support for other projects:
o Lead / support the development of clinical plans
o Consult on specific issues throughout planning and execution phases
o Coach others

Training and Capacity Building:
  • Advise on education and development initiatives to prioritize skills that are most in need to support execution of the Strategic Plan
  • Knowledge management – share best practices with SLT, directors and managers
Qualifications
  • Registered Healthcare Professional
  • Master’s degree in health related field required
  • 5 years experience leading both projects and teams required
  • Strong understanding of the broader healthcare environment (current system trends, major policy issues, etc.)
  • Management and team leadership skills
  • Conflict resolution abilities
  • Excellent time management, project management and organizational skills
  • Superior issues management and written/oral communication abilities
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated problem assessment skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
  • Demonstrated individual leadership skills
