Manager, Cruise Development
The role reports to the Director, Trade & Trade Analytics. The Manager, Cruise Development works collaboratively with HPA’s Operations team for operational issues related to the Cruise line of business and also the Communications team for dedicated support in marketing cruise for the Port of Halifax.
The successful candidate must have a relevant university degree in sales or marketing or combination of education and experience. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively in speaking and writing. Candidates with a minimum of five (5) years related management experience in marketing, tourism, cruise or related environment will be preferred. Must be able to obtain a Marine Transportation Security Clearance.
Good writing and communication skills with experience scheduling and tracking large-scale projects. Must be well versed in occupational health and safety matters and have an understanding of environmental mitigation measures. Must have good working knowledge of project management techniques.
