Measurand is currently seeking a Manager of Information Technology, based in New Brunswick. Reporting to the VP Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the general day-to-day operations of the organization's computer systems, networks, programs, infrastructure, help-desk support, databases and other technologies.

Primary Responsibilities

Reporting to the VP of Finance, the incumbent will:

· Be responsible for the overall operations of internal IT Services, as well as manage the relationship with the company’s external IT provider to ensure strong infrastructure and network operations

· Contribute to platform-level initiatives and represent Measurand’s interests

· Manage, supervise and set priorities for tasks relating to the planning, maintenance, resourcing, purchasing, designing and operations of networks, data centers (operations), and business continuity

· Develop plans for the design, acquisition, implementation and maintenance of new IT infrastructure including but not limited to: software, hardware and services, etc.

· contribute to cyber security strategies that protect the company’s operations

· Attend the cross-functional IT leadership meetings (ITC Committee) as the content expert to establish IT strategies, policies, procedures and guidelines

· Research best practices in design, implementation and product selection of infrastructure components

· Communicate and negotiate with vendors and contractors to secure infrastructure specific products and services that will be economically feasible and technologically sound for the company; this will include working with sister companies across the platform to determine cost-savings through collaboration

· Ensure business continuity against outages and disasters. Provide clear expectations on recovery times and availability of services

· Coordinates purchasing and inventory management related to the organization's information technology assets

· Record assets received by the organization and track’s location or use from purchase to disposal

· Audit software licenses to determine usage, ensure compliance with vendor agreements, and control costs

· Maintain phone system infrastructure

· Policies and procedures development

· Perform other duties, as assigned

Qualifications & Skills Required

· Minimum of a college diploma in a related field; a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology would be considered an asset.

· Three (3) to five (5) years of IT experience; ITIL certifications would be an asset

· Strong technical aptitude

· Organization skills; project management skills or certification is an asset

· Strong communication skills, and an ability to communicate effectively with management as well as discuss technical issues with non-technical staff

· Specific knowledge of the following systems: Microsoft O365, ERP/Epicor (asset), Salesforce (asset)

This position is required to be on-site in our Fredericton Measurand location.
