Math Tutor for Secondary Students Job at Tutor Doctor
Tutor Doctor Windsor Essex is looking to add a Math Tutor to our skilled tutoring team in the Amherstburg area!
As a tutor for Tutor Doctor you will be able to:
- Set your own schedule
- Work one-on-one with students to help them achieve their academic goals
- Help students build academic confidence
Our ideal candidate has experience teaching/tutoring students at the high school level and a passion for education.
Tutoring is a great fit for anyone that is looking for flexible part-time working hours, whether you're an Ontario Certified Teacher, a supply teacher, a student, a teacher-in-training, or a recent university graduate.
This position will be predominantly for in-home tutoring but additional virtual opportunities may be available.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English (required)
- High level of proficiency with high school math (required)
- Completion of Bachelor's degree in a related field of study (preferred)
- Experience leading students with dyslexia, ADHD, and various learning disabilities (preferred)
- Previous Experience working with children and youth (preferred)
- Has an ability to confidently teach multiple subjects (preferred)
- Has a G2 or G driver's license and unrestricted access to a vehicle (preferred)
All candidates must successfully pass a Vulnerability Sector screening test.
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Salary: From $20.00 per hour
