White Oak Pain Clinic is a newly established clinic specializing in providing injections for people with pain. We do not do opioid medication or addictions management.

We are looking an MOA who is responsible, patient, and will keep our office running smoothly because you will be our only MOA. You'll be working closely with two doctors who are both friendly.

The vast majority of our patients are pleasant. Our doctors stay relatively on time so there will rarely be patients to complain to you about the wait time!

This job has the opportunity for growth into the office manager position as the clinic expands over the next few years.

We're looking for someone who loves working in a fast-paced environment and being around people. You'll help with scheduling appointments, answering phones, and greeting patients when they first walk in the door.

Responsibilities:

  • Record patients' medical information on forms.
  • Answer telephones and respond to inquiries.
  • File paperwork into an electronic medical record according to office protocol.
  • Store medical files in an organized fashion so that they can be retrieved easily.
  • Sterilize and maintain equipment and instruments used for examinations.
  • Understand HIPPA privacy laws and adhere to patient confidentiality.

Being able to communicate in basic Mandarin with patients is an asset.

Computer skills:

  • Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Be able to learn how to use a new Electronic Medical Record program to book appointments
  • Use electronic faxing system
  • Generate receipts/invoices
  • Process credit card and debit payments

Day to day physical tasks:

  • Draw medication into syringes each morning for doctors to use
  • Prepare the patient rooms with enough needles, cleaning supplies, etc
  • Wipe down patient care areas such as the examining table, door knobs, etc
  • Count and track the stock of supplies

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
