TalentWorld is currently seeking a Millwright for our client in Penetanguishene. The Millwright is responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance, and servicing of mechanical equipment with the purpose of supporting the production needs of the company.
TalentWorld is recruiting a Millwright in Penetanguishene.
Millwright Responsibilities
- Receive instructions relative to priority needs and requirements
- Work with all engineering departments on the design, fabrication, installation of new and modified equipment
- Work with other departments in the troubleshooting of equipment
- Effect repairs in a timely and efficient manner
- Evaluate jobs to be done in relation to tools required and the extent of materials needed
- Obtain the necessary equipment, tools, and parts required to do the job through various means
- Communicate fabricated part requirements to engineering and toolroom using basic sketches
- Read and interpret blueprints for equipment and parts
Millwright Qualifications
- Certified Millwright
- Knowledge of welding principles is an asset
- Ability to read detailed machine blueprints
- Basic knowledge of PLC and control programming languages

- Salary: $28/hr -$33/hr based on experience
- Overtime as required
