Our school is currently in need of a contract Music Teacher to instruct students in vocal, piano, guitar, and percussion. The ideal candidate for this position has been formally educated in music and has at least two years of teaching experience. In addition, the candidate is prepared to organize and plan out lessons each week. We are looking for motivated instructors who can take a personal interest in our students' artistic growth and provide them with the skills they will need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized music lessons to each student.
- Provide lessons that are appropriate for the student's skill level.
- Teach students how to read and play music or sing in a one-on-one or group setting and use proper technique on a musical instrument.
- Cultivate an interest in music in students.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 weeks
Salary: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
