Who are we seeking to join our team?

The GoCo is seeking an experienced Network Automation Engineer- II for its subsidiary company, for a remote position in Canada.

You will contribute to the team by performing the following:

• Design, Build, and Implement tools to support deployment and monitoring of our Managed Network Services
• Leverage streaming telemetry from network equipment to detect faults, and develop automatic remediation software to improve quality of experience
• Design friendly user interfaces, to improve accessibility of network automation tools to the larger organization
• Produce supporting documentation (results, defects, procedures, diagrams, manuals/instructions etc.)
• Support operations after product release
• Train employees as necessary
• Front end and interface focused

What do you bring to the team?

• Technical degree, diploma or equivalent experience is required
• Minimum 5 years experience required.
• Python(Django)/C# Experience
• Perl development experience an asset.
• Experience with Time Series databases like Prometheus and InfluxDB
• ISP/MSP experience, especially with Juniper or Cisco equipment
• Must have a strong background on networking hardware provisioning concepts.
• Critical thinking, analytical, and investigative skills
• Detail oriented with an appreciation for processes and process improvements
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong ability to prioritize
• Aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Web development experience an asset.
