Consideration for travel expenses to commute to Medicine Hat from outside areas.
Tasks include:
- Examining the condition of the residents and analyzing their OT needs.
- Planning treatment and providing it to the respective patient, with the support of our Therapies Assistance.
- Keeping an eye on their medical condition.
- Assessing residents for mobility equipment and comfort.
- Familiar with the AADL program and AADL applications for appropriate therapeutic equipment.
- Reviewing progress and upgrading the prescribed treatment as per the requirement.
- Educating the care team about the resident needs and how to provide safe quality care
- Providing customized services as per different disabilities of the patients.
- Organizing rehabilitation groups for the clients.
- Preparing reports and attending multidisciplinary case meeting to decide and review the continuing treatment.
- Perform administrative tasks like making phone calls, maintaining records and case notes.
- Most importantly, willingness to learn and be a team player.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8 per week
